Deniz met her husband, Joe in New York City where their daughter, Dylan was born. The need to be close to family pushed them to move to Oregon, right outside of Eugene/Springfield. They fell in love with country living where you will find Deniz tackling leaf blowers, a ride-on lawnmower, and shoveling horse manure, while their maniac senior dog chases wild turkeys and their puppy tries to herd every animal in sight.

We purchased Alder House, a nine-unit apartment complex, to provide safe housing for homeless youth ages 16–21 in partnership with Looking Glass Community Services. We’ve championed local nonprofits, contributed to plans for a future Emerald Valley Pickleball Complex, and organized donation drives for pajamas, hygiene kits, and other essentials for children and families in need.
